We are a volunteer-led Neighborhood Association that helps keep MPUM vibrant, safe, and connected. We believe that a connected and active community is a stronger community. Our association is committed to preserving the unique character of the neighborhood while encouraging growth and improvement through collaboration and volunteerism.

All residents of MPUM are automatically part of the Neighborhood Association, renters and owners included! This is NOT an HOA as membership dues and donations are optional.

MPUMNA Annual dues & Donations

You are welcome to make an optional dues payment and additional donations to the MPUM Neighborhood Association. Your dues and donations support things like landscaping and maintenance at the neighborhood entrances, neighborhood events like the block party, safety initiatives like VIP, and communication efforts like this website.

Membership Tiers per Household:

  • Standard Dues: $50

  • Premier Patron: $150

  • Senior Rate (65+): $25

Dues are a once-a-year voluntary payment. Additional donations are always welcome. The more we raise, the greater the impact (and the more fun stuff we can do)!

    Beautification

    Landscaping and utilities at the neighborhood entrances and common areas. The City of Dallas owns the common areas, but we are responsible for upkeep.

    Events

    Neighborhood events and programming like our annual MPUMNA Block Party in May and social events throughout the year.

    Safety

    Safety initiatives like Volunteers in Patrol (VIP) support, who help keep our neighborhood safe by patrolling on their own time. Email vip@mpum.com to volunteer.

  • Premier Patrons receive special recognition in MPUM communications and freebies throughout the year. The Premier Patron contributions provide vital support for our community investments.

  • No, donations are not tax-deductible because the MPUM Neighborhood Association is classified as a 501(c)(4), a “social welfare" rather than “charitable” entity under IRS regulations.
