OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Merriman Park–University Manor (MPUM) is a welcoming neighborhood in Northeast Dallas known for its mature trees, mid-century charm, and strong sense of community. Located near White Rock Lake and major Dallas corridors, our neighborhood offers a peaceful residential setting with convenient access to everything the city has to offer.
What truly defines MPUM is its people. Neighbors here look out for one another, lend a hand when needed, and take pride in maintaining a safe, friendly, and beautiful place to live.
The MPUM Neighborhood Association
The Merriman Park-University Manor Neighborhood Association is a group of dedicated residents who come together to foster a safe, beautiful, and engaged community. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in our neighborhood by promoting safety, organizing events, and facilitating open communication among neighbors.

Our neighborhood is served by the Dallas Police Department’s Northeast Division. We work closely with them on Crime Prevention Programs like VIP.

Sanitation
Trash and recycling pickup is every Friday. Monthly brush and bulky trash pickup is the week of the fourth Monday of each calendar month.

Dallas Leash Law states that all dogs must be on a leash at all times when in public. Friendly reminder to always pickup after your dogs.
