Summer Safety

School is out which can increase criminal activity, especially crimes of opportunity.  Like the rest of the city we have our share of kids with too much time on their hands who break into cars or take things in plain sight.  Make sure you "Lock, Take and Hide" - always lock your car, especially if you are not able to secure your car in a garage.  Always take all items you do not want to lose inside.  And, never leave valuables in plain sight - don't tempt anyone to break into your car. 

The more we are able to deter this kind of crime the less likely our neighborhood will be targeted.  So make sure you have your car and all items inside the car secure and out of sight.
