Dogs vs Mailman

Once again I had no mail delivery today on Freemont because of a loose dog terrorizing the mailman. The mailmain actually rang my doorbell on Saturday & asked if there was a H/O Association that might be able to help with this issue, since he felt bad about not delivering the mail on days when this dog has threatened him. How can we correct this situation?

We also live on Freemont and have been bothered by that dog. My husband has offered to fix the owners fence and has been told no. The dog bit my father-in law who tried to protect his 10 year old dog. He has tried to attack me but I know animals to well to let him fined a week spot. We also have a 2 year old niece that comes over and we can not let her play outside.

Call 311

I'd suggest calling 311 any time you see the dog on the loose.

Thanks - calling 311 is a great idea. Unfortunately, so far I've never seen the dog. But it's evidently still out there because I'm now in my 2nd week of no mail delivery. And the Post Office clerk I spoke with this morning when I went to pick up my mail seemed totally indifferent, so there's no help coming from that quarter, evidently. Grrrr...
